We believe it’s important for companies to be an integral part of their communities. That’s why - when the oil spill crisis hit the Gulf Coast - we jumped into action to help the Gulf Coast Convention & Visitors Bureau create, produce, and distribute the on-air Daily Beach Update. Featuring Compass Media’s in-house video production capabilities and on-air talent, we hit the beaches at 6 a.m. every day for weeks on end to keep the public informed about local beach impact. We are also strong supporters of causes that protect and preserve coastal environments and sea life. We chose a sea turtle, an endangered animal, to represent our corporate brand because we participate in Alabama’s “Share the Beach” program, helping to guard sea turtle nests and protect hatchlings from predators as they make their way into the surf.
